Potential new Members
If you have been offered a position at the University of Guelph, you will have been asked to sign a Letter of Appointment. Your Letter of Appointment states your starting salary and your Distribution of Effort (DOE) as agreed to by you and the University Administration. Your DOE plays a key role in your path towards Tenure (for Faculty) or Continuing Appointment (for Librarians and Veterinarians). We encourage you to contact us at facassoc@uoguelph.ca if you wish to discuss these or any other items. We will provide detailed information about your area of hire which may be helpful for you.
